The 1977 TT is one of the most sought after Vintage off road bikes of today and we have a great California 1 family owned bike here for you.
The bike was stored for some time non running, so once arriving to our shop we went through the engine, it has a brand new 10:1 2nd over Wisco light weight piston set, valve job and all the components need to do so, leaks no oil, uses no oil, new front sprockets, chain and cables that needed replaced have been. The tank is original paint, right side has some slight clear coat peeling and a small pencil eraser sized ding on the left.
The engine has been completely tuned with new points, cam chain and guide, starts on the first kick effortlessly and purrs like a kitten, shifts great with the new clutch set, pulls hard through all the gears. Has the ORIGINAL YAMAHA front number plate, which is as rare as finding "teeth in a chicken"
Stops as it should, tires are excellent, wheels very nice, frame clean and still vibrant black paint. Has the desirable later model forward leading forks also!
This is a TT500 you will be proud own!
