Finally the XT500 can be converted from 1980 on wards to the beautiful slim front fender of the XT500 until 1979. The adapter sits inconspicuously hidden under the lower yoke, the mudguard is perfectly positioned in the center of the inner tubes and is still decoupled with rubber bushings. The wiring harness can also run between the triple clamp and the fender as originally planned.

• Background info: During the model change from 1979 to 1980 - caused by the new fork - the recesses for the fork inner tubes in the fender were moved backwards, therefore the early version of the front fender fits only with the help of our adapter for XT500 models '80 and later.
