- The battery of the electric starter should be charged using the charger supplied before starting up for the first time after the winter break
- The decompression lever must be pulled for the first second of each starting process to avoid putting unnecessary strain on the battery
- The electric starter is to be regarded as a starting aid instead of the kick-starter and cannot compensate for any other vehicle defects (e.g. faulty ignition system).
